School Partnerships
At St James', we recognise and value the importance of wider school partnerships.
As part of the Derby Diocesan Academy Trust (DDAT), we benefit from being part of a strong and supportive network of schools across the City of Derby and the wider county of Derbyshire. Our membership within DDAT’s Derby City Hub of Schools enables us to work collaboratively with a range of partner schools, sharing expertise, resources and best practice. Through this partnership, we are able to continually enhance the quality of education and breadth of experiences we provide, ensuring that all children receive the very best opportunities to learn, achieve and flourish.
We also work in close partnership with a number of schools across the city as part of a 'local cluster', including Akaal Primary, Arboretum Primary, Bemrose Primary, Beckett Primary School, Bishop Lonsdale CofE Primary, Firs Primary, Harrington Nursery, Pear Tree Infants, Pear Tree Juniors, Rosehill Infants, St Chad's CofE Infant and Nursery School, Walbrook Nursery and Zaytouna Primary.
In addition to this, we continue to develop collaborative partnerships with other Church schools inside and outside of the city and the Midlands.
