School Council
Our School Council represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community.
The School Council is a way of us, the children, having a say in how the school is run. Two people from each class represent their class at monthly school council meetings and then we meet with our class to discuss ways to make the school better.
The School Council have been hard at work recently looking at how to make St James Junior School the best it can be.
Here are just a few things we have done this year:
- Helped to create a new menu for lunch times.
- Tried to create a fairer system at lunch times so that Year 6 are not always last.
- Allocated people as laptop monitors.
